Question For All My Readers ...

am trying to come up with the best strategy for maximizing my reader's enjoyment on both Medium and Substack platforms. I recognize a lot of this is trial and error until you hit the magic combination that works best for you, but I thought I would directly ask my readers what they prefer.

Currently, I post on Medium and Substack identically. The current publishing schedule is doable for me. I don’t have any issues maintaining quality and quantity. However, I want to make sure it is what YOU want to read.

This is regarding my erotic writings only. My non-erotic I am going to keep doing as I am currently. The HUNDOS will stay on Medium only. This also will not affect any group projects I work on. 

Medium readers — is there a niche you prefer? I try to keep all of my erotic writings under 2000 words per story. Closer to the 1000–1500 range. That seems to get the most reads for me. Currently, I am writing in these niches: Hotwife and Age-Gap/Cheater. I may bring back my Confession series as one-offs, but I am not going to focus on those. I also will potentially do a one-off of The Club & Temptation Tuesdays if the mood strikes me.

Substack readers — Same question: is there a niche you prefer? I post my stories identically from Medium to Substack, but I was wondering if Substack readers would prefer longer stories. For example, Monday-Wednesday, I post my Cheating Husband series. Each one is about 1100 words. Would you prefer a single Monday post with all 3300 words, or do you want it broken up each day to mirror Medium? My worry is I flood your emails or notifications with my daily posts, and I don’t want to do that.

I am considering doing a Substack exclusive series that wouldn’t be on any ebook platform either. What would my Substack readers want to see in that?

Truly, I am looking for feedback on what you, my readers, crave.

I am going to continue my Blood Series. Every Wednesday, a new chapter will be posted. I also will come up with another non-erotic series. I am toying with an Ancient Evil series. We will see how that goes. These are for me, Skylar because writing is my outlet. I will also do the occasional blog post. I like to follow the 80/20 rule. 80% of what I write is for my readers, and 20% is for me. This way, we all benefit.
