Jacyn

I had my fun on the teacups, but when the dizziness of the spinning got to be more of a headache than fun; I decided I needed to experience something else at the circus. I heard the announcer talking about performing bears and thought, why not? I snagged a prime seat, or at least I thought it was a prime seat. The stage was front and center, and I wasn’t too far back. But when the cutie showed up out of nowhere, I knew I was meant to be sitting right here.

“Hi, is this seat taken?” Her voice was seductive and almost innocent. I was captivated at first glance.

“It is now,” I grinned at her. Hopefully, I didn’t look too cheesy, “Hi, my name is Jacyn.”

“My name is Danielle. Thanks.”

She sat down next to me; I could smell her scent. It was of lilac and roses. The fact I could smell that instead of the wildlife was astounding to me.

“You ever seen dancing bears?” I asked her.

She shook her head, “Never been to the circus, so no. This is my first attraction.”

“Wow, never, not even as a kid?”

“Never. I’m a circus virgin!”

She was funny, and I liked that. I wasn’t afraid to let out a laugh. After the day I had, it was stuff like this that I really needed. “Don’t worry, you’re in expert hands sitting next to me. I am a circus expert, or at least, I was at eight.”
