“Kim,” John said from the bathroom. “Are you sure you want to do this?” As he walked out into the bedroom, I saw him dressed in jeans and a sweater. He looked handsome and sexy all at once.

I nodded my head. “Yeah, I mean, I don’t know that I have a choice. And like I told you, I’m kinda turned on by the whole idea.”

He laughed and walked over to me. “You’re sure this will not bite me in the ass?”

Shrugging, “I mean, I may still bite you in the ass, who knows? But yeah, I think I’m okay with all of this.”

Leaning over and kissing my lips, John held me close as if he was trying to reassure me. “I love you; you know that.”

“I do. Come on, let’s get this bitch off my back.” I walked over to the nightstand and pulled my phone off the charger. “I told her we can meet at the office. No one is there this time of night. But she said she had a hotel room already booked for us.”

“Hotel sounds better. No witnesses.”

I laughed, “Okay, good point.” We walked through the house and to the car. “I’ll drive.”
